Lab Introduction

Chemistry is an experimental science and cannot be effectively taught to students without strong experimental experience. The laboratory components of the course focus to apply knowledge that students learn in class. The chemistry lab is equipped with wide range of chemicals, reagents, glassware and state-of-the-art equipment, with students learning how to deal with complexity through experimentation and data analysis respectively. Students execute experimental procedures, work independently, interpret precise results and accurate conclusion. Modern equipment and instrumental techniques allow students and faculty members to perform a wide range of experiments and fulfill research tasks respectively.

The chemistry laboratory is spacious and allows 50 students to conduct experiments at the same time. Students always complete the lab reports at the end. As safety is the prime concern, students are advised to wear gloves, safety goggles and wear lab coats while working in the laboratory. Students are not allowed to bring edibles in lab/store.
