The history of the Department of Basic Sciences and Humanities began in 2012, when Narowal Campus was established by University of Engineering and Technology Lahore. Since that the department has carried out the tradition of excellence by providing best quality and up-to-date education. The department fulfills the requirements of fundamental knowledge in Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, English and Islamic/Pak. Studies by teaching optional and compulsory courses offered in various Engineering programs at UET Lahore, Narowal campus. It has well-equipped laboratories with are enriched with advanced instruments. We are committed to adopt advance pedagogies by focusing on multimedia teaching. World-renowned scholars are invited to give speeches on their research in monthly seminars to provide advanced knowledge available to our faculty members and students.
